About NY Elite FC

It’s Official!  NY Elite FC and Capital United FC are merging to form CAPITAL ELITE FC.

 New York Elite FC Girls and Capital United Soccer Club will now be operating as one club.  Our clubs both have long, successful histories developing female soccer players in our area, so we have decided to combine to create one larger, single club that can offer player’s expanded opportunities within our regional soccer community.

The two clubs share very similar philosophical views on developing the whole player at every age and level of play.  The new club will remain focused on building the self confidence of its players on and off the field, offering them an environment to learn without a fear of failure and developing a level of skill so they may enjoy the game at whatever level they choose as they mature.

New York Elite FC was formed to offer an academy style soccer club to players in New York’s Capital Region. A focus on technical skills training ensures the development of each player, and an emphasis on continuing education allows our coaches to be successful. At NY Elite FC, the player is the priority.

Training together creates a competitive environment that encourages hard work at each session. Players will have the opportunity to advance to a higher team at any time throughout the year if their skills advance to that higher level.

• Access to Elite Soccer Training Programs

NY Elite FC’s unique partnership with Adidas and the “Adidas International Training Program” will allow selected NY Elite FC teams, players and coaches the opportunity to play, train and learn under the guidance of some of the world’s top professional international youth academies. Affiliations with Major League Soccer (MLS) teams provide potential youth academy opportunities for our players. Participation in US Club Soccer’s National Premier League (NPL) exposes our top players to the Player Development Program (PDP), where top talent is identified for the chance to play in national and international youth competitions.

• An Organized Club

A structured team and skills training curriculum is used by our Coaching Directors to ensure that every player is following an effective plan and trained using a consistent philosophy. Each team is comprised of a head coach with shared assistant coaches, rosters up to 23 players, a team manager and a crew of parent volunteers to coordinate activities and help teams operate smoothly.
